After Xuanzong ascended the throne, while launching a powerful military attack, Mongolia continued to send envoys to the Jin Dynasty to force it to surrender. Forced by the situation, in March of the second year of Zhenyou (1214), Jin Xuanzong had to send Chenghui (Wanyan Fuxing), the right Prime Minister of the Minister of justice, to seek peace with Mongolia, agreed to the harsh negotiation conditions put forward by Genghis Khan, and presented to Mongolia 500 princesses and children of nuqi country, king of Shaoxing, 500 men and women, 3000 embroidered clothes, 3000 horses and a large number of gold, silver, pearls and jade. The two sides temporarily reached a peace agreement and the Mongolian army withdrew from Juyong Pass. In May of that year, Xuanzong moved the capital of the Jin Dynasty from Zhongdu (now Beijing) to Bianjing (now Kaifeng City, Henan Province).

Jin Xuanzong's southward move only settled in Henan with heavy troops to consolidate himself, ignoring the safety of northern prefectures and counties. Therefore, it lost people's hearts. As a result, the Jin Dynasty generals and Han landlords stationed in the Northeast split from the Jin Dynasty. They surrendered to Mongolia in order to preserve themselves. In the second year of Zhenyou (1214), the brothers Zhang Jing and Zhang Zhi of Jinzhou (now Liaoning) gathered more than 100000 rebels to kill Jiedushi and claim to be the king. After Muhua Li led the Mongolian army into the northeast, they also fell to Mongolia. Prior to this, the Khitan jeruligo rebelled against Jin, connected with the Mongolian army, claimed to be the king of Liao, and became a helper for the Mongolian army to capture the northeast. In the third year of Zhenyou (1215), the immortal Liaodong declared that Puxian and wannu rebelled against Jin for independence, established the Dazhen country, changed the yuan Tiantai, and was called the heavenly king. The rule of the Jin Dynasty in the Northeast has disintegrated.

Mongolian self-protection, and resistance to the rule of the Jin Dynasty, everywhere United uprising, forming a massive red coat army uprising. Initially, it centered on the anti gold rebels such as yang'an'er and Li Quan in Shandong, and soon expanded to Hebei, Henan, Shanxi and other places. Xuanzong mobilized troops to suppress the rebels, but the insurgents continued to attack the ruling group of the Jin Dynasty.

In December of the second year of Yuanguang (January 1224), when the Jin Dynasty was in difficulties at home and abroad and the national power was declining, Jin Xuanzong died of depression and illness at the age of 61.

Jin Xuanzong is the eighth emperor of the state of Jin. He has experienced three years: Zhenyou, Xingding and Yuanguang. He has been in power for 11 years and is known as Jin Xuanzong in history.

"Zhenyou" coins are issued together with Zhenyou banknotes, including Xiaoping, discount 2 and discount 5. They have been used for a total of four years. They were coined in the early days of Emperor Xuanzong of Jin Dynasty and witnessed the "battle of Zhongdu" (the war between Jin and Mongolia). They are rare and precious.
