Shuanglong Shouzi coin Kuping Qiqian 2 Guangdong Shuanglong Shouzi coins are divided into three editions: one or two, Qiqian two and Qiqian two. The casting of silver coins is not accurately recorded in historical materials, or it may be that some of them have been lost in the long river of history. Therefore, the Quan family has always had different interpretations of its specific casting situation, and there is no final conclusion so far. During the period of the Republic of China, many scholars led by Zhang jiongbo believed that this silver coin was forged in 1905 to commemorate the 70th birthday of Empress Dowager Cixi in the 31st year of Guangxu. However, no matter which edition, at art auctions around the world, these shuanglongshou coins are of extraordinary value. This coin, Kuping Qiqian 2, a Guangxu Yuanbao made in Guangdong Province, has a diameter of 3.9 cm and weighs about 26.7 g. the upper end of the front bead circle of the silver coin is engraved with the word "made in Guangdong Province" and the lower end is engraved with the five words "Kuping Qiqian 2" in regular script. A bat pattern is engraved on the left and right sides respectively. The bead circle is full of Chinese words "Guangxu Yuanbao". On the back of the silver coin, a double dragon playing with beads is cast outside the bead circle, and a round word "Shou" is cast inside the bead circle. The design of silver coins is very distinctive. A pair of bat patterns cast on both sides of the front imply auspiciousness. Because the word "bat" of bat is homophonic with the word "Fu", which corresponds to the word "Shou" on the back, implying "both happiness and longevity". This coin is wrapped in pulp into the bone, cooked naturally, deep, clear typing mouth, obvious circulation traces, border teeth pass the customs, and clear dragon patterns. It has high investment value and collection value, and few people can treasure it.
